Questions Homeowners Ask Before a Remodel

1) What types of projects do you take on?

We focus on kitchens, bathrooms, and full-house refreshes—projects where planning, sequencing, and trade coordination matter. If you’re looking for a GC to manage the details, protect your home, and keep the project organized, we’re a strong fit.

2) Do you handle small repairs or handyman work?

Sometimes—case by case. We prioritize renovation projects. If it’s a small job that supports a larger plan (or solves a real problem cleanly), we’ll tell you yes or no quickly.

3) How do we get started?

We start with a walkthrough, then move into a short planning phase to dial in scope, priorities, and selections—so you get a clearer plan and realistic budget guidance before construction begins.

4) Do you provide design help?

Yes—practically. We can help you make smart design decisions (layout, materials, finishes) and connect you with design support if the project calls for it. Our role is to keep the choices aligned with budget, function, and buildability.

5) What’s your typical project size?

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all price for remodels. Two bathroom remodels can be totally different projects. After a walkthrough, we’ll help you get to a real scope and a real budget range based on your home and your goals.

6) How long does a project take?

It depends on scope, selections, and lead times. A bathroom may be weeks, a kitchen is often longer, and a full-house refresh can run months. We’ll give you realistic timing based on your actual scope—not best-case fantasy.

7) How do you price projects?

We price based on scope, site conditions, and the level of coordination required. We’ll spell out what’s included, what’s not, and what could change once walls open up—so you’re not guessing.

8) Can you work with my budget?

Yes—if the scope matches it. We’ll help you prioritize what matters most and adjust the plan so it’s achievable—without surprises later.

9) How do changes work once the project starts?

Changes happen. We handle them professionally—documented, priced, and approved before we proceed. We don’t “wing it” on changes. That protects you, protects us, and keeps the project from drifting.

10) Are you insured? Do you pull permits?

Yes—insured. Permits depend on the project. If permits are needed, we’ll tell you early and manage the process so it’s handled correctly.

11) What hours will crews be working?

Most work happens Monday–Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Saturday work starts at 8:00 a.m. We don’t schedule work on Sundays.

 

​12) How do you keep the home and jobsite clean during construction?

We run a clean-as-you-go jobsite and require daily cleanup so the site stays orderly and safe for the next trade and for you.

13) Are smoking, drugs, or alcohol allowed on the property?

No. Smoking isn’t allowed on the property, and drugs/alcohol are prohibited on the jobsite.

​14) What if a neighbor has questions or concerns?

We prefer neighbors contact us directly so the homeowner isn’t put in the middle.
